Performance and application

It's white or pale yellow  solid at normal temperature. It has slight smell. It's insolnble in water but soluble in ethanol and ether and other organic solvent. It also has the common gender of natural alcohol.


It's used as the raw material of surfactant,detergent,cosmetics,wetting agent,pharmaceuticals,antifoaming agents and rubber ingredients so on. It's also used as auxiliary raw material of textile and leather industry additives.
