Ethylhexylglycerin

Properties: Colorless liquid, density under standard conditions is 0.962g/cm3, boiling point is 325ºC/760mmHg.



Performance and application: As a non-added preservative in cosmetic systems, ethylhexylglycerin has antibacterial, antiseptic, emollient, and moisturizing effects. Ethylhexylglycerin can synergize traditional preservatives to reduce the amount of these substances in cosmetics, improve the antibacterial effect of multifunctional cosmetic additives such as glycols and fatty acid lipids, and inhibit sebum and exfoliated epidermal cells in human sweat. At the same time, it can improve the moisturizing effect of the formula and provide a smooth skin feel, solving the shortcomings of some creams such as stickiness and whitening.
